ACP and Healthcare Reform
ACP continues to work to influence the legislative process so that a final bill addresses the College's top priorities and policies: providing affordable coverage to all Americans, ensuring a sufficient supply of primary care internists and other specialties in need; reforming physician payments and ending the cycle of annual Medicare physician payment cuts, and reforming the medical liability system.
On February 1, ACP President Dr. Joe Stubbs sent a letter to members of Congress urging them to reach an agreement on a legislative way to provide affordable healthcare for all Americans and ensure they have access to primary care physicians. To read the full letter, click here.
A few weeks ago we asked members to complete a short survey on healthcare reform. To view the results of the survey, please click here.
